- BRICKS
- ======
-
- The Bricks Texture will allow you to use this texture on any object that
- you can make in Turbo Silver. It is used in the same fashion as Checks
- which is also on this disk.
-
- The parameters of the Bricks are as follows:
-
- #1 RED color of mortar
- #2 GREEN color of mortar
- #3 BlUE color of mortar.
-
- These settings are the color of the mortor between the bricks. The actual
- color of the bricks comes from the attributes menu of the actual object
- that you are going to make with the Bricks Texture. If you wanted red
- bricks with white mortor the value in Attributes would be 255 Red all
- other guns 0.
-
- The values for the Parameters menu of textures would be 255 in all guns or
- in this case #1 - #3 would all have the number 255 in them.
-
- #4 is the size of the X value or size from left to right
- #5 is the size of the Y value or from In to Out or front to back.
- #6 is the size of the Z value or from top to bottom of the brick.
- #7 is the size of the mortor.
-
- Good values to start with are as follows:
-
- #4 10
- #5 4
- #6 3
- #7 .5 (point 5 or 1/2)
- #8 is X shit in Z or the stagger of the brick from left to right.
- #9 is X shit in Y or the stagger of the bricks from the depth of
- each brick. When you stagger this number the shift causes the
- bricks behind the front bricks to be shifted either left or right
- behind each other.
- #10 is Z shift in Y or the stagger up and down in Y
- #11 is shift in X as it relates to the axis of the object
- #12 is shift in Y as it relates to the axis of the object
- #13 is shift in Z as it relates to the axis of the object
-
- A negative number will shift in negative value to that axis and a
- positive numer will shift in relation to the postive axis movement.
-
- It is best to use small numbers from 5 to 10 until you have the hang
- of bricks. Of course the more you experiment the better the results
- will be.
